Good times at Mimi and Gator's

Susan Kate went and visted her Gator and Mimi this weekend! Her Uncle Dustin and Aunt Christine were there with cousin Thomas and Uncle Seth and Aunt Brandi were also there. Here are some photos of the week. Hope you enjoy!

Susan Kate had a great time, she went for a walk with Gator's dog, Gus, she played with her cousin Thomas, she went to the tailgate before the Navy / SMU game, she got lots of attention in general, and she had a great time. Thanks to all!!!

Daddy is finally coming home from Galveston tomorrow and it's his birthday! So, Susan Kate and mommy decided to bake him one of his favorite cakes--the Tunnel of Fudge! We probably won't win the Pillsbury bake-off this year but watch out!
Picking up one of mommy's bad habits of snacking on the cake batter!

State Fair of Texas

Fall is definitely here (at least on the calendar) and so we have documented our annual trip to the State Fair of Texas. As you can see from the photos, the fair is all about food!
